Winnipeg shoegaze band Living Hour enlist Jay Som for their new single 'Feelings Meeting', taken from their upcoming album Someday Is Today due out August 19th on Kanine Records & Next Door Records. The track is a vast soundscape of anthemic guitars, layers of synths and thundering bass chords, and sees singer Sam Sarty switch instruments, writing the track on bass rather than guitar, "I really enjoy living in lower frequencies. “Feelings Meeting” was so fun to write on bass, I played around with the high G string moving with it as my own voice moved matching notes, and harmonizing with it felt so easy. A familiar register." The new album will feature production from Samur Khouja (Cate Le Bon, Deerhunter), Jonathan Schenke (Parquet Courts, Snail Mail) as well as Jay Som, and off the back of 'Feelings Meeting', is set to sound huge. -Toby Evans-Jesra
